日程 Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to Hotel (1350m) Day 02-03: Rest and prepare day for assignment & briefing. Day 04: Drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha (914m.) which takes about six hours. Then trek to Arughat, over night in Tent. Day 05: Trek From Arughat to Khanchok (950m) ,which takes about five hours and over night in tent. Day 06: Trek from Khanchok to Sotikhola (1165m), which takes about five hours overnight in the camp. Day 07: Trek from Sotikhola to Machhakhola (1330m), which takes about five hours, over night in tent. Day 08: Trek from Machhakhola to Jagat (1350m), which takes about six hours and over night in the camp. Day 09: Trek from Jagat to Ngyak (2300m), which takes about five hours and over night in the camp. Day 10: Trek from Ngyak to Namrung (2550m), which takes about six hours and then over night in the camp. Day 11: Trek from Namrung to Syalla village (3150m), which takes about five hours, over night in the camp. Day 12: Trek from Syalla Village to Sama Gaun (3780m), Which Takes about seven hours over night in the camp. Day 13: Rest day at Sama Village for acclimatization. Day 14: Trek from Sama Village to Manaslu Base Camp (4700m), which takes about six hours overnight camp. Day 15- 39: Climbing Period (mount Manaslu Summit 8163m) Day 40: Preparation to returning (Clean Base Camp) Day 41: Trek from Base camp to Sama village (3780m), which takes about five hours overnight in the camp. Day 42: Trek from Sama village to Namrung (2550m), which takes about five hours, over night in the camp. Day 43: Trek from Namrung to Philim village (2300m) which takes about four hours, over night in the camp. Day 44: Trek from Philim Village to Macha khola (1330m), Which takes about six hours, overnight in the camp. Day 45: Trek from Machakhola, to Soti Khola (1165m), Which Takes about five hours, overnight in the camp. Day 46: Trek from Soti, Khola to Arughat(950m),which takes four and half hours, overnight in the camp. Day 47: Drive from Arughat to Kathmandu (1350m), which takes about seven hours, transfer to the Hotel. Day 48: Final departure, or alternative Join other activities |

Manaslu Expedition : 48 Days
Introduction
Manaslu, also known as Kutang, is the eighth highest peak in the world. It lies 40 miles east of the Annapurna . The long ridges of the mountains and valley glaciers present viable approaches from every directions. It also terminates a peak that towers steeply above the surrounding landscape.
In the past, people used to know this mountain as a Kutang. ‘Tang’ is a Tibetan word which means the flat place. It thereby describes the mountain’s general summit. The name later changed in Manaslu which is derived from the Sanskrit word manasa and is translated as the mountain of the spirit. The first ascent of this mountain was made in 1956 by JAPANESE CLIENT T.
Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu Sherpa. This peak was not climbed for the next one and half decade. In 1971, Japanese team made a second successful ascent.
There are half dozens established routes in this mountains these days. In the climbing history, the south face of the mountain is said to be very tough.
